BOENMED® Pacemaker Drape
BOENMED manufactures Pacemaker Drape. The pacemaker drape is a specialized sterile sheet used during cardiac pacemaker or implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) implantation or replacement procedures.
Functions:
Dual Access: The drape provides prepared sterile sites for both primary (chest) and backup (femoral) vascular access.
Infection Control: The incise film is vital to avoid pacemaker pocket infections which are serious complications.
Lead Management: The catheter pouch solves the unique problem of handling multiple long, delicate leads before they are connected to the device.
Fluid Management: The large absorbent area manages the fluids from skin prep and any bleeding.
Applications: The drape is a tailored system for organizing tools, controlling fluids, and maintaining a critical sterile barrier during the implantation of a life-saving cardiac device.
