EENT Split Drape
BOENMED® EENT Split Drape
BOENMED manufactures EENT Split Drape. EENT Split Drape is a specialized sterile drape designed for combined or sequential surgeries involving both the eye and the ear, nose, and throat (ENT) regions on the same side of the head.
Features & Benefits:
A pre-cut, long, narrow opening in the drape, flanked by adhesive strips. It allows the surgical team to work on the orbital/eye region through one side of the split and the nasal/sinus region through the other side, while maintaining a single, continuous sterile field.
The adhesive seals the drape to the skin along the split, preventing contamination.
Instrument pad provides a stable, non-slip surface for laying out the numerous delicate microsurgical instruments used in both ophthalmology and ENT surgery (e.g., forceps, scissors, osteotomes) to keep them organized and prevent them from falling.
A large absorbent pad is placed over the patient's upper chest and shoulder. It soaks up blood, irrigation saline, and antiseptic prep solution that can run down from the head and face during these often bloody procedures involving bone and sinus cavities.
Hook-and-Loop line holder secures the cords for equipment like the cautery, endoscope light source, or micro-drill, preventing them from dragging off the field or tangling with delicate instruments.
The drape is large enough to cover the patient from the top of the head down over the chest, creating a wide sterile field.
Applications:
The split drape is used for procedures where the surgeon needs to work on two interconnected anatomical areas on the same side of the head during a single operation.
Drape Accessories:
Absorbent reinforcement, 56 x 58 cm
Split with adhesive, 9 x 61 cm
Instrument pad
Hook-and-loop line holder
