BOENMED® Full Drape Sheet
BOENMED manufactures Full Drape Sheet. This is a full-body drape, also known as a maximum drape sheet. Its primary function is to create the largest possible sterile field, covering the entire patient from head to toe and the entire operating table.
Functions:
Creates a Total Sterile Field: It is typically not fenestrated and used as the ultimate base layer. Its immense size means that even in procedures where the patient may be moved or the surgical team needs to work at extreme ends of the table, they will only contact a sterile surface.
Absolute Isolation: By enveloping the entire patient and table, it provides the highest level of barrier protection against microbial migration from non-sterile areas.
Applications: This drape is reserved for the largest, most complex, and longest surgeries where maintaining sterility over a vast area and for an extended time is critical. It acts as the comprehensive base layer for the most demanding surgical procedures. Exceptionally large dimensions, sufficient to completely cover an adult patient from the top of the head to the soles of the feet, with ample material to drape over all sides of the operating table.
