BOENMED® Non-Absorbable Polyester Green Braided Suture
BOENMED manufactures POLYESTER SUTURE. Polyester suture is a coated and braided non-absorbable surgical suture. It is composed of Poly (ethylene terephthalate). The polyester suture is prepared from fibers of high molecular weight, long-chain, linear polyesters having recurrent aromatic rings as an integral component.
Features
The polyester sutures elicit a minimal acute inflammatory reaction in tissues, followed by gradual encapsulation of the suture by fibrous connective tissue.
The polyester suture is braided for optimal handling properties, and dyed green for enhanced visibility.
Our Polyester sutures are coated with silicon, which facilitates easy passage through the tissues.
The polyester sutures have excellent tensile strength and are ideal for cardiovascular surgery.
The polyester sutures exhibit good knotting strength and secure knot placement.
The polyester sutures are not subject to degradation and retain tensile strength indefinitely in vivo.
