Surface Sampling Sponge Stick
The Sponge Stick is composed of a fungicide-free sponge and a detachable plastic handle, and it is packed in a sterile sampling bag. It is ideal for collecting environmental surface samples without touching the sponge.
This surface sampling device consists of a biocide-free cellulose/polyurethane sponge - dry or pre-moistened with 10 ml buffer. The sponge stick can be detachable to avoid accidental sponge contact. The stick is perfectly suited to sample in gaps, drains and pipes and is available dry or pre-moistened with 10 ml buffer. The included bags can be opened easily with attached pull tabs and offer a label area for sample identification. This Sponge-Stick placed in twirl-tie bag .
Features
• Medical grade cellulose/polyurethane sponge material that resists tearing and flaking, and won’t inhibit the growth of microorganisms or interfere with downstream diagnostic tests.
• The bendable polypropylene Long handle allows maximum contact of the sponge with the sampling surface and also helps with the collection of hard-to-reach surfaces, around corners, and irregular shaped areas.
• All sponge stick are available dry or pre-hydrated with various collection solutions. The solutions can be customized according to customer needs.
• The material of the packaging bag is firm and leak-proof.
